Mikhail Aizenberg
Was born in Moscow in 1948, graduated as architect, is a poet and critic. His poems, diffused in the west through the samizdat, were published in Russia only in the late Eighties. Aizenberg’s poetry connects with the great Silver Age period, opposing the conceptualism and deconstructionism of much contemporary poetry, Russian or not.

Serena Vitale
One of the most distinguished Italian Slavist, teaches Russian literature at Milan Università Cattolica and writes regularly for the «Sole 24-Ore». Among the authors she translated are Puskin, Cvetaeva, Mandel’stam, Brodsky, Nabokov. She’s written novels and short stories which, searching for science’s thrill and art’s patience, run along the border in between narrative and essays.
