artBabel - Kerim Seiler. Effetto Barnum
Babel has intensified its relationship with contemporary art by commissioning an important artwork which, expanding on the festival’s themes, holds its identity in a sign: an art piece that be a place for meeting, a structure to be inhabited, year after year, by Babel’s public.
The work has been commissioned by Kerim Seiler. His project is a tent, developed in collaboration with ETH Chair of Computer Aided Architectural Design: a three-dimensional organic shape crossed by an extra dimension of coloured surfaces.

The tent is part of Barnum Effect, a cycle of three projects developing along converging axes that started with Seiler’s personal exhibition at la rada, and will end with the publication of a monographic book, in collaboration with another of Babel’s guests, Stefan Zweifel.
