Letteratura e traduzione ci portano ad attraversare confini culturali e linguistici e ad accogliere l’«altro» presso di noi, per questo Babel invita il pubblico a incontrare autori che vivono e scrivono tra piů culture e i loro traduttori italiani. Nel 2007 sono molti i confini che la parola attraversa: Babel ospita alcune lingue balcaniche, con invitati come Ismail Kadaré, Tomaz Salamun, Ornela Vorpsi, Predrag Matvejevic, Abdulah Sidran e Dejan Ilic. La lingua nazionale protagonista č il tedesco, tra gli autori Michael Krüger, Helena Janeczek e Giorgio Orelli traduttore di Goethe.

Literature and translation carry us through cultural and linguistic borders to welcome the «diverse»: for this reason Babel invites the public to meet authors who live and write between several cultures accompanied by their Italian translators. In 2007 there are multiple borders which the meetings will cross: Babel will host languages from the Balkans with guests such as Ismail Kadaré, Tomaz Salamun, Ornela Vorpsi, Predrag Matvejevic, Abdulah Sidran and Dejan Ilic. The featured national language will be German, with discussions with authors Michael Krüger, Helena Janeczek and Giorgio Orelli, translator of Goethe.

La littérature et la traduction nous portent au-delŕ des frontičres culturelles et linguistiques pour accueillir «l’autre»: c’est la raison pour laquelle Babel invite le public ŕ rencontrer des auteurs qui habitent entre plusieurs cultures, accompagnés de leurs traducteurs en italien. En 2007, plusieurs frontičres se croisent : les langues des Balkans, avec des invités comme Ismail Kadaré, Tomaz Salamun, Ornela Vorpsi, Predrag Matvejevic, Abdulah Sidran et Dejan Ilic – l’allemand comme l’une des langues nationales, avec des auteurs tels Michael Krüger, Helena Janeczek et Giorgio Orelli, traducteur de Goethe.
